For Immediate Release: November 6, 2006 The Inn at Lambertville Station Hosts Meetings Along the Delaware at Glass-Enclosed Riverside Conference Center Waterfront Views, Fine Dining and Accommodations, and Signature Coconut Bread Make a Recipe for Corporate Event Success in Lambertville Philadelphia (November 6, 2006) - Situated on the banks of the Delaware River in historic Lambertville, New Jersey, the Inn at Lambertville Station's Riverside Conference Center offers a scenic backdrop for all business agendas, from 150 people to five people. The building's antique décor and unique architecture--featuring 2 ½-story vaulted ceilings with glittering chandeliers--are offset by stunning views of sunrise and sunset on the waterfront. Each of the Inn's 45 antique-filled rooms boasts a similar, spectacular view. Along the Delaware/Raritan Canal, adjacent to the Inn, is Lambertville Station Restaurant--a restored 19th-century train station, where Chef Amy Lettiere serves up a rich tradition of classic American cuisine, offering customized menus for conferences. And just beyond, the quaint streets of Lambertville are lined with antique shops and art galleries, which spill over the bridge and into the town of New Hope, Pa., just a few minutes' walk from the Inn. "We're fostering a sense of 'away from the office,'" said Conference Director Mary Vale, who joined the Inn at Lambertville Station in the summer of 2006. "Our glass-enclosed Riverside Conference Center is a beautiful space for meetings, seminars and conventions. With breathtaking waterfront views, internationally-inspired accommodations, fine dining and a wealth of leisure activities nearby, this is a place you might vacation," Vale said. "At the same time, the Conference Center is perfectly tailored to suit your business needs. Top-quality audio-visual amenities, including TV/VCR, slide projector, wireless microphone, Polycom capabilities for overseas conferencing, and free high-speed wireless Internet (available throughout the Inn, at no cost) round out our comprehensive meeting planning package," she said. As Vale goes on the road to network with corporations and event planners, she brings along a taste of what the Riverside Conference Center has to offer--literally--in the form of Lambertville Station's signature coconut bread. A dessert specialty at Lambertville Station Restaurant, the coconut bread has become a mainstay of every coffee break at the Riverside Conference Center. "With the recipe included, the coconut bread is a sweet detail that sticks in your mind," Vale said. "I love details. It's what this profession is all about." A conference industry veteran, Vale most recently worked as Conference Coordinator at both the Hilton Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel properties, Clinton, N.J. She has 15 years experience in hospitality, and got her start managing a family-owned hotel property in Irvington, N.J. A longtime resident of the area, she brings with her a keen knowledge of historic downtown Lambertville and nearby New Hope, Pennsylvania. "The Riverside Conference Center is central to so many interesting activities, shops and events--it's a wonderful destination for business retreats," she said. On site, guests are invited to relax on the Swan Creek Deck, in between conference sessions. Shaded by bountiful trees, with a view of a babbling creek, the deck offers a respite from busy business agendas. During the winter chill, guests can cozy up to a crackling fire in the lobby of the Inn at Lambertville Station. The Inn offers guests an exotic retreat via internationally-inspired accommodations. The Inn's 45 antique-filled rooms feature décor of the great cities of the world--from London to New York City to Paris and New Orleans. Every room boasts a breathtaking view of the Delaware River.
